Black Top is a blues rock trio that lives somewhere between ZZ Top and ACDC. Singer bass guitar player Anne-Maarten rocks out hard with Harm van Essen on guitar and Paolo de Stigter on drums!
The band was originaly formed in 2007 and put out three albums which you can find on Spotify. The latest release was Cherry Picking in 2016 with Rogier Berben on drums and Elmer Meijers on guitar.
The first and second album Rough ‘n Gritty 2008 and Sour Milk were written and recorded with the founding members Michiel ‘Mick” Hup on vocals and guitar and Theo ‘Thumper’ Outhuijse on drums.
The band played shows all over the Netherlands at festivals and places like Paradiso Amsterdam and they played shows in Germany, Belgium and the Tsjech Republic.
